DMV Foodie Finds | DC’s Ultra-Stylish Peruvian Cuisine 🤩

【SCALLOPS A LA PARMESANA】🥘 The scallops are rich in texture, with a seasoning that has a hint of a domestic barbecue flavor, topped with a layer of cheese, accompanied by a rich creamy aroma~ 【CHAUFA PUTUMAYO】🍚 A stir-fried rice dish with serious wok hei, it really captures the essence of home-style fried rice. The rice is cooked to have a crispy, pan-fried bottom, very fragrant. 【PULPO AL JOSPER】🦑 An incredibly impressive dish, a mix of squid and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes are sprinkled with a layer of crispy quinoa, offering a rich texture, and the squid is tender and bouncy. 【CAUSA NORTEÑA】🍤 This dish comes with shrimp, mashed potatoes, dried sweet potato, and more. It has a full South American flavor profile, slightly acidic, definitely worth a try. For skewers, we ordered asparagus, beef, and chicken leg. The beef is tender, and the asparagus is grilled to a crisp. The chicken leg is a bit dry, so it’s not highly recommended. 【CHAZUTA】 A delicate dessert with a layer of passion fruit and white chocolate flavor on the outside, not too sweet, with a smooth texture. Inside is a light matcha ice cream, delicious. 【UNGURAHUI ACAI】 Overall, it’s like a fruit bowl with different fruits and granola, slightly on the acidic side. Friends who love sour flavors should definitely give it a try. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with dim lighting, and the dishes are quite innovative, worth a visit! Average cost: Around 120🔪 #DMVFood #WashingtonFood #DMV #USA #AmericanFood #FoodieExploration #PeruvianCuisine #DCFoodie #WashingtonDCFood #USAExploration
