DMV Getaway｜A Hidden Gem Boutique Hotel in a Former Convent ⛪️

Spent the weekend exploring Frederick and stayed at this gorgeous historic hotel that used to be a convent! 🏨✨ The building was purchased by Marriott from the church and just opened a little over a month ago. They kept the original structure but gave it a fresh, modern interior—with vintage photos of nuns hanging on the walls. 📸🙏 One of the coolest features is the on-site restaurant, Wye Oak Tavern. It preserved two original large windows, and the bar sits right next to them with a beautifully designed religious-themed decor.
