DMV Italian Food Review | OLIO E PIÙ

Visited this much-hyped New York-based Italian restaurant after seeing so many bloggers talk about it! 🍝 The location is super convenient—really close to shopping areas! 🛍️ We walked in on a Thursday (made a quick reservation via Google last minute), and it was pretty busy and lively—had to speak up to be heard! 😆 Overall, the food felt pretty average, and the service was just okay. Have you been here? What was your experience like? Let me know! 👇 Here’s what we ordered: 🍝 Carbonara Pretty standard—I’ve definitely had better carbonara elsewhere (RPM Italian’s version is tastier, in my opinion!). What’s your go-to pasta dish at Italian spots? 🐟 Branzino The fish was cooked well, but nothing extraordinary. Are you a seafood fan? How do you like your branzino prepared? 🐙 Fritto Primavera Fried calamari rings and assorted seafood—crispy and fun to share, but not super memorable. Do you prefer fried seafood or grilled? Our small table got totally crowded with just three dishes—not the comfiest setup! 🪑 Average per person: around $50. 📍Address: OLIO E PIÙ, 699 14th St NW, Washington, DC 20005 #Food #DMVfood #ItalianCuisine #DMVexplore #OlioEPiu #DiningOut #DCeats #ItalianRestaurant #FoodReview #CasualDining #WashingtonDC #FoodDiary #NotBadNotGreat #NYCimport #EatLocalDC
