DMV Restaurant | Lobster Squid Ink Pasta That’s Unforgettable 🍝
This place isn’t super popular, but it’s oh so delicious, especially their pasta. Octopus A La Plancha 🥗 Grilled octopus legs paired with a sauce made from blood orange, avocado, and chili. As an appetizer, it’s quite nice. I really love the blood orange in it; it’s refreshing and cuts through the richness. Garlic Bread 🥖 The garlic bread is full of flavor and seems perfect for dipping in soup. Squid Ink Linguine 🍝 This lobster squid ink pasta is fantastic. The first bite is full of garlic and butter flavors, topped with garlic bread crumbs. The succulent lobster meat coated in the rich, perfectly balanced sauce, combined with a mouthful of pasta, is pure bliss. Besides, the sauce is creamy but not overwhelmingly so (some lobster cream pastas can be too heavy). Two people can polished off a whole plate in no time. It’s incredibly satisfying. The decor of the restaurant has a Mediterranean vibe while also feeling like a cozy family eatery. I’ll definitely be back for the pasta. One thing to note is that they have two locations in VA, one in Falls Church and one in Alexandria. The menus at the two locations have some differences; for example, the squid ink pasta seems to be only available in Falls Church. Friends who want to visit might want to check the menu on Google beforehand to see if there’s anything they’d like to try. #dmvfoodie #DMVFood #WashingtonDCFood #Pasta #DMVRestaurant #ItalianCuisine
