DMV Steakhouse | St Anselm – One of the Best! 🥩✨

Rumor has it this is Jônt Chef Ryan’s favorite steakhouse—and I finally got to try it! Let’s talk steak first: I ordered the 18oz Prime T-Bone, medium rare. The presentation reminded me of Peter Luger in New York. It leaned a bit more toward rare, but it was incredibly tender. Seasoned perfectly with salt and pepper, not too heavy on the butter—really delicious. Highly recommended! 👍 Must-try highlights: 🥓 Thick-cut bacon – the star of the meal! 🥔 Mashed potatoes – not greasy, infused with rosemary 🌿 🔥 Grilled cabbage – surprisingly flavorful 🧈 Butter biscuits – soft, warm, and irresistible Non-alcoholic cocktail: 🍃 Light and Herbaceous – super refreshing, great for cutting through the richness Heard the owners are a power duo: the founder of Brooklyn’s St. Anselm teamed up with the owner of Le Dip! Price: around $60 per person (before tip). St. Anselm 1250 5th St NE, Washington, DC Have you been here? What’s your favorite steakhouse in the DMV?
