Don’t Miss Out on Tang N Tang Korean Restaurant in Irvine!

I was in Irvine for hotpot at MooMoo Hotpot when I noticed a Korean restaurant next door with a huge line. This weekend, I finally had time to check it out! The place was packed with Koreans—always a good sign of authenticity! 🇰🇷✨ A Korean friend once told me that eating rice cake soup (tteokguk) is like having longevity noodles—each bowl adds a year to your life! 🥣🎉 So to welcome the new year, I had to order a bowl. ✨ Braised Beef Short Ribs This version is different from other Korean restaurants—it’s not loaded with cheese but tastes more like Gangnam-style soy-braised ribs. The flavor is slightly sweet, and the ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender—so flavorful and delicious! Personally, I prefer it over the cheesy-spicy galbi jjim. The portion is huge—enough for three people to share with leftovers! Plus, it’s totally non-spicy, so kids can enjoy it too! 🍖😋 ✨ Pork Spine & Potato Stew (Gamjatang) One of my all-time favorite Korean dishes, perfect for chilly weather! The stone pot arrives steaming hot, with about four large pork bones and potatoes cooked until soft and comforting. Sipping the soup with bites of rice is pure happiness! 🥔🔥 ✨ Stone Pot Bulgogi (Grilled Beef) Ordered this especially for the little ones—the broth is slightly sweet and pairs perfectly with rice. There’s nothing like warming up with Korean stews in winter! 🍚❤️ They have so many other dishes that look amazing—I’m definitely coming back! 📍 Tang N Tang (Located next to MooMoo Hotpot in Irvine) #IrvineFood #LALife #LAEats #WeekendFoodAdventure #WeekendEats #KoreanFood #KoreanBBQ
