Don’t Miss the Hidden Gem of the UAE

Sharjah was the third emirate I visited in the UAE. Honestly, cultural customs are more noticeable here — dress more modestly, and during Ramadan, restaurants are closed until sunset (so plan your meals accordingly! 😂). But this emirate, just a 20-minute drive from Dubai Airport, is totally worth a visit ✨. Sharjah also has its own airport, and flights to other Middle Eastern countries are often cheaper than from Dubai. I highly recommend spending at least one night here and exploring the city on foot 🚶‍♀️🌆. 🏨 Hotel Recommendation: TheChediAlBait Sharjah 🏛️ The best hotel in the area — located in the Heart of Sharjah, it’s super convenient to get anywhere. The desert-inspired design is incredibly photogenic 📸, service is excellent, and the price is just a fraction of what you’d pay in Dubai. There are also several traditional markets (souks) nearby where you can buy souvenirs. 📍 Attractions You Can’t Miss: SharjahArtMuseum 🎨 Features fascinating Islamic cultural exhibitions — and it’s free! Great for photos too. MuseumOfIslamicCivilization 🕌 I heard it has an amazing collection of Islamic artifacts, but it closed early during Ramadan . Check opening hours before you go! RainRoom 💧 Experience walking through heavy rain… without getting wet! Magic✨ GoldSouk 🚂 It’s all the same market — nicknamed “Train Souk” because it looks like a train! Mostly sells gold. Nearby is the King Faisal Mosque, Sharjah’s largest mosque, though access may be restricted. #UAE #UAETravel #Sharjah #MiddleEast #DiscoverSharjah 🌍
