💎Hotel El Colonial is a wonderful hotel located in the heart of Old San Juan. It’s definitely one of the best places to experience an authentic stay in Old San Juan. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a relaxing vacation! 💎It’s within walking distance to the cruise terminal—we easily made it with our luggage in about 10 minutes. ⭐Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink, and our room was upgraded to a corner room on the first floor with two Juliet balconies. ⭐The room was clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning and strong water pressure in the shower. There was a small fridge (though no hairdryer in the room, but I brought my own). 🌴The bar downstairs was a highlight—enjoying an ice-cold beer, champagne, or other drinks in such a lovely setting after a day of sightseeing was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. 🌈A few downsides, and this is important: there’s no elevator, so you might end up on the top floor.
