Easy 30-Minute Drive Hiking Trail from Seattle

How can you visit Seattle without going hiking? 👣🏃🏻‍♀️ If you're a beginner looking to try hiking but worried about it being too strenuous, be sure to check out Twin Falls Trail! With minimal intensity, it’s perfect for a family day trip or a weekend adventure with your dog. This is a highly recommended leisure hiking route. Not far from the entrance, you’ll find a shallow creek that’s also ideal for splashing around in during the summer. 📍 Navigate to Twin Falls Trailhead (the starting point of the trail/parking lot). It took us exactly 30 minutes to drive there from Bellevue. ⚠️ A Discover Pass is required. If you don’t have one, you can pay $10 at the parking lot. 🕒 Along the trail, there are two waterfalls. After reaching the second waterfall, you can turn back, as the scenery is mostly the same from there. The round-trip distance for the entire trail is 2.6 miles.
