Eating in the US | Washington DC Edition
【Pho 75】~$20 per person This Vietnamese pho spot was my favorite of the entire US trip!! I came here two days in a row—it's the best pho I've ever had! The broth is incredibly flavorful, they're generous with the meat, and the small portion is perfect for girls. Reasonably priced and so delicious I drank every last drop of the soup 🤤 【Call Your Mother Deli】 A super popular bagel shop 🥯 open from 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM. Order based on your preferences—we tried the salmon one, and it was just okay lol 🤭 【Thomas Sweet】 An ice cream shop 🍦 visited by both Biden and Obama! Lots of flavors to choose from—we went with banana 🍌 and lemon 🍋, and the scoops are huge! After visiting Georgetown University, you can easily walk here since it's in the same area. 【Denny's】~$20 per person Their 24-hour operation saved us! Jet-lagged and starving at 3 AM, we didn't want 7-Eleven or McDonald's, so we found this place. So good! The one we went to: 1250 Bladensburg Rd NE, Washington, DC 20002. Very American vibe—we ordered the Cinnamon Apple Crisp Pancake Slam 🥞, a T-Bone Steak 🥩, and iced tea ☕️. The portions are massive! Tasty and perfect for fueling up before a long day of city walking 😎 【Jessie Taylor Seafood】 A small seafood market by the river 🐟 with live seafood 🦀🦪🦐🍣. Prices are clear, and they prepare your picks on the spot. The fresh oysters were absolutely incredible 🥹—zero fishy taste, just sweet and cool. The lobster bisque was also amazing—not too thin, almost like a thick purée of lobster meat. We also had crab legs and shrimp, totaling around $100. Great value! Lots of locals come here for seafood, and on a nice day, you can enjoy the sunset 🌅~ #GlobalFoodSquad #SatisfyChineseCravings #FoodDiary #USTravel #USFood #WashingtonTravel #DCLife #DCFood
