Built in 1960 with Soviet help to protect temples ๐๏ธ and support irrigation & power. โ ๏ธ Soldiers guard with ๐ซ โ some areas no photos! I kept my distanceโฆ 12:00 โต Philae Temple ๐ซ 450 EGP ๐ Dedicated to Isis โ goddess of love. Only reachable by boat ๐ค (ticket: 200 EGP โ if overcharged, just say โIโm Mongolianโ ๐). Carvings tell her story โ the most perfect deity in Egyptian myth. โจ Desert surrounds the Nile, but wildlife thrives ๐ฆข โ I felt free as a bird! 14:00 ๐ก Nubian Village ๐ซ 400 EGP Colorful fairy-tale houses ๐จ, warm greetings, souvenir street ๐งฒ.
