Our only dinner in Ottawa was arranged at Fauna, which has been on Canada's Top 100 list. The overall experience was not astonishing, but the taste was still on point, and the flavors were quite good. 📍 Fauna is located near Ottawa Downtown, and you can walk to nearby attractions. 📌 We went on a weeknight when there weren't many people, but if you're going on the weekend, remember to make a reservation in advance. 🌟 The restaurant is not very large, and the atmosphere under the dim lighting is quite nice, perfect for dating and chatting. The menu doesn't have many items, but whatever you order tastes good, with a lot of fusion and creativity. ❤️ Raw Oysters - As a big fan of oysters, I had to order them when I saw them on the menu. Their freshness is unparalleled, and they are said to be from the west coast of Canada. They are not too large but have a slight sweetness that is very delicious. ❤️ Soft Shell Crab - Fried soft shell crab with spicy garlic sauce, the soft shell crab is very plump, and it's covered with a sour and spicy sauce that's very appetizing. The combination of fried food is super fragrant. ❤️ 80 Day Dry Aged Ribeye for 2 - This ribeye steak is said to be a must-order dish, and it's indeed a very large portion for two. The beef is cooked to perfection, and because it's been aged for a long time, the overall flavor is more complex with a slight fermented taste.
