Enjoying the sunset and randomly choosing restaurant Babette ๐ โจ
For my first sunset in Rome, I chose to watch it from the Pincio Hill. After finishing around 7 PM, I randomly selected Babette for dinner nearby. Luckily, we were able to walk in, but the 2-3 tables behind us without reservations couldnโt get a seat. I overheard the waiter saying the place was fully booked, and many people started arriving around 8 PM. When we got there, only two tables were occupied, so itโs definitely a good idea to head out early to avoid the dinner rush! โฐ๐ฝ๏ธ Every time I order, itโs a struggle! The menu has so many options that itโs hard to decide. There are no recommended dishes marked, so we had to rely on guesswork and luck. At this restaurant, we ordered a salad + rice cakes + meat + cake (a highly summarized name, haha). ๐ฅ๐๐๐ฐ They even treated us to a complimentary creamy mushroom soup, which was unexpectedly delicious! By the time we were stuffed, we still had some leftovers. The couple at the next table polished off their appetizers and two main courses without leaving a crumb. Clearly, our stomachs are built differently! ๐โค๏ธ The atmosphere in this restaurant is also fantastic. Overall, Iโd give it a solid four and a half stars! โค๏ธ๐ #Italy #Rome #PincioHill #ItalianRestaurant #Babette
