Experience a Performance at the Palau de la Música Catalana 🎷
The Palau de la Música Catalana is a must-see attraction during the day, but I highly recommend attending a performance to truly feel the palpable awe of the music palace. After all, going to a show allows you to visit in advance, saving the money for a pure photo op ticket 🎟️, and it’s a much more immersive experience. This time, I chose to attend a performance at the 2024 Barcelona Jazz Festival, where I had the privilege of seeing the veteran Barcelona Jazz Orchestra (BJO) perform. This is Catalonia’s first big band, comprised of top jazz musicians, and they even invited three semi-retired great soloists, including the renowned Ricard Gili.🌟 You can check the official website in advance to see what performances are coming up in the next one or two months and even select your seats. I chose a spot on the third floor this time; although it was nearly 50 euros per person, I felt it was a rare experience worth having. The most expensive tickets are around 57 euros, and for a once-in-a-lifetime visit, it’s a worthwhile expense. If you’re interested, there are also Flamenco 💃 performances here. Watching a Flamenco dance in Spain is very meaningful. #TravelBeyondThePhotoOps #CulturalAttractionShares #BarcelonaTravel #WhereToGoOnHoliday #SpainTourism #PalauDeLaMusicaCatalana #BarcelonaExperiences #Jazz
