Exploring a Trail with Forests🍃, Lakes🏔️, and Snowy Peaks!

Peters Canyon Trail Along the way, you can enjoy beautiful natural scenery including open grasslands, wetlands, forests, and lakes. In early spring in California, you can even see distant snowy mountain peaks! ❄️🏔️ The varied terrain, with its steep ups and downs, adds a sense of adventure to the whole hiking experience. Since we brought our little one under three years old, we walked the loop around the lake—about an hour long. Our toddler almost completed the entire walk on their own! 👶🥾 The Peters Canyon Reservoir really enhances the trail—the lake looks stunning from every angle, especially at dusk when the sunset glow spreads over the water.
