Parked behind the visitor center ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’จ Walked straight to the river and strolled along the riverside park all the way to Scioto Mile ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ Passed by the โ€œWorldโ€™s Largest Gravelโ€ (yep, itโ€™s a thing ๐Ÿ˜‚), crossed a block, and reached the Ohio Statehouse ๐Ÿ›๏ธ The Statehouse is open to the public for free! Saw a group of parents with kids heading into a hearing room โ€” decided to join ๐Ÿ‘€ We even said hi to a mom and her kid sitting next to usโ€ฆ After a while, noticed neatly arranged gift bags on the front table ๐ŸŽโ€ฆ Turns out it was โ€œTake Your Child to Work Dayโ€ ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ’ผ We made a quiet exitโ€ฆ lol Headed to the second floor โ€” the Senate Room was completely empty ๐Ÿคซ Took a break in the main hallโ€ฆ and ran into the same parent group again on their way out! On the walk back to the car, we passed through City Hall and crossed the railroad that cuts through downtown ๐Ÿš† Also spotted the last remaining traces of Union Station ๐Ÿš‰ Drove over to Ohio State University ๐ŸŽ“ and parked near the library Itโ€™s graduation season โ€” saw people taking photos everywhere!
