Falling in Love with Lyon
Clos des Blancs Manteaux Park – We had some snacks there and even saw a dance video being filmed, which was really cute. The weather was gorgeous.👌 Urban Outfitters store – We went to check out their selection because there aren't any Urban Outfitters stores in Finland. The prices were high, so we only bought a pair of sunglasses, but the clothes were really beautiful! Notre-Dame de Paris – When we visited, the church was still under construction, so we couldn't go inside, but it was still stunning. I was amazed by its size and details. There are lots of great spots along the river to sit down and have snacks.😘 Fika Lyon – This café was fantastic! The food and drinks were delicious, and the decor inside was beautiful. It's located in a quiet area, and the staff were nice and chatty.😁 Montée des Carmélites – Took a few photos of these beautifully painted stairs. Des Trois Gaules Amphitheatre – It's a beautiful historical site, completed in 19 AD, which was once used for holding performances and circus competitions.👌 Montée de la Grande Côte – Lyon's old town is beautiful. It has a lovely atmosphere and many small shops to visit. République Metro Station – Lyon's public transport is very affordable (at least for someone like me from Finland) and easy to understand. We bought a weekly ticket that can be used for all kinds of transport. Confluence Shopping Centre – This shopping centre has many fun stores. We mainly went to check out the cosmetics, clothes and food they offer. The location is really good.😊 Saône River – We were lucky with the weather, which was very warm (close to 20 degrees Celsius) and sunny. The river and the surrounding city are beautiful. We just sat there listening to someone playing the guitar. Fernand Rude esplanade – The views were breathtaking.😁 Lyon Zoo – This zoo is completely free for everyone, which I thought was lovely. There's also a huge park and gardens around it. Unfortunately, we had to leave early because of a storm and flood warning.
