Table et Partage — Restaurant in Lyon

We visited the restaurant just before our scheduled train and our experience was amazing. In the last 3 days, we have eaten on some of the best & most popular, and this was the best - the cooking was simple and honest, no fanfare, best seasonal ingredients, well executed with service that rivalled some of the restaurants on Michelin guide.

One of the items on the menu was a wild duck and I’d wanted to try that. I was told that it tended to be a little gamey and if I wasn’t used to it, I should avoid ordering that. It reminded me of what I had the night before at a Michelin listed restaurant, we weren’t told in advance and we ordered it and couldn’t take the gaminess.

Both my beef tartare and Turbot were very well Dômes the portion was generous too.

Cela faisait bien longtemps que je n'avais pas passé un si agréable moment autour d'une table si généreuse. L'établissement, d'une élégance remarquable, est parfaitement agencé, chaque détail étant minutieusement pensé. Le personnel, d'une gentillesse et d'une politesse exquises, nous a comblés de petites attentions tout au long du repas. Ils étaient aux petits soins, rendant l'expérience encore plus plaisante. La rapidité du service était également parfaite. Là où, ailleurs, les plats se succèdent parfois trop rapidement, ici, nous avons pu savourer chaque instant sans précipitation, ce qui est un véritable plaisir.

Quant à la nourriture, elle était tout simplement exceptionnelle. Chaque plat était un délice, élaboré avec soin, avec des saveurs recherchées et des associations d'ingrédients bien pensées. Nous avons quitté la table en nous disant qu'il était rare de manger si bien. Aucun plat n'a été laissé de côté, nous avons tout dévoré avec grand plaisir.

En ce qui concerne les prix, ils sont tout à fait raisonnables, et la qualité des produits est largement à la hauteur. Nous venions de Suisse et il est parfois facile d'oublier combien il est agréable de partager un tel moment en famille.

Nous remercions chaleureusement toute l'équipe et c'est certain, nous reviendrons. Je ne peux que recommander cet endroit et joins à ce message quelques photos des plats que nous avons dégustés, en espérant qu'elles refléteront un tant soit peu la beauté de l'instant.

Les seuls petits bémols que je pourrais mentionner seraient la chaleur à l'étage en fin de repas et le confort de la banquette du fond, qui laissait un peu à désirer, mais cela n'a en rien gâché cette soirée...

We had our first meal in Lyon at Table et Partage, on 1st May, no less, when we expected most of the city to be asleep, and it was just perfect.

The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully modern with a creative twist. The wine list was great too, and Pierre (hope I got that right) was amazing - so warm and helpful, especially since we don’t speak or read French. He walked us through the menu and wines without ever making us feel rushed or out of place.
