Family Trail Challenge: 100 Trails with Kids β Salt Creek Beach πΈπ
With so many beaches in Southern California, Laguna Beach remains my favorite! Itβs close to home and has plenty of spots to stroll, eat, and explore. ποΈπ¨π©π§π¦ This weekend, I took the kids back to this trail again. Even with the recent heatwave, the morning ocean breeze was surprisingly cool! π¬οΈπ Overall Rating: βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ β Pros: β’ The views are amazing! That wide green field and basketball court have definitely shown up in your SoCal photo albums πΈπΏ β’ You can hike, picnic, and finish by playing in the sand β fun from morning till evening! π§Ίβ±οΈ β’ Fully paved path β easy to push a stroller or ride a bike π΄βοΈπΆ β’ Not too long, not too short β about 45 minutes for the full loop, with changing scenery so it never gets boring ππ β’ The second half is much quieter with fewer people β peaceful and relaxing π€«π β’ Easy parking β the trail ends right near the parking lot π ΏοΈπ β Cons: β’ First-timers might get confused toward the end β I only saw one map near the last quarter of the trail (see Pic 5!) πΊοΈπ§ β’ Watch out for cyclists, and since the later section passes near a golf course, there are occasional golf carts β keep an eye on little ones! π³β‘ #SeasideHike #HikingWithKids #WeekendFamilyFun #IrvineArea #SoCalHikingTrails #StrollerFriendly #LagunaBeach #BeachTrail #EasyHike #FamilyDayOut #CoastalViews #SafePaths #OutdoorKids
