Salt Creek Beach — Attraction in Dana Point

This is an awesome beach! We were visiting and a local told us as about this beach. It was next to the Ritz Carlton and had parking a short walk away (about quarter mile) ... it's down hill to the beach but remember when you're going back to the parking lot it's up hill especially if you have a lot of items with you it can get tiring getting back to the lot. The pricing at the lot was good for the time there. We had to leave before the sunset but I think we'd want to do that in the future. The beach is super clean, there were plenty of lifeguards around and good restrooms nearby. When we went there was no food places nearby so bring your own food etc. Would definitely...

One of the longest and sweetest stretches of beach in this part of the OC, in my opinion.

Great views from anywhere, whether far atop the bluffs ar Ritz-Carlton or at sea level One is guaranteed amazing vistas and natural eye candy.

Both my dog and I love that it is walking distance from my house, as well as being centrally located with the Laguna Beach, Dana Point and Laguna Niguel trolleys*. *(though he cannot enjoy the trolley, NOR the actual beach, of course)

I come here at least 4-5 times a week as a part of my daily commute, as well as for exercise and sun.

We really enjoyed this beautiful beach 🏖️ It was a bit crowded fm 11/5 we were there. Lifeguard’s are always alert 🚨 love that. Plz careful with surf and swim area be in your area to be safe. Plenty of parking the walk from the parking lot to the beach is beautiful to see the view On your way back there is a golf cart two dollars per person children under five are free. Take care and don’t be stingy on tipping. The waves are beautiful, not too heavy Sand is beautiful and nice and clean
