Finally, I got to taste the super delicious matcha parfait in Uji! (1)

The matcha parfait from "Nakamura Tokichi" was my biggest goal for my trip to Uji. 🎢🌟 So many people had recommended it! Since only the main store offers the bamboo tube version, which is more classic, I had to make a tough choice and give up the beautiful Uji River view at the branch store. 🌸🍃 I headed straight to the main store as soon as I got out of the subway station! 🍃 It takes about half an hour to get to Uji from Kyoto by JR line. 🎢🌟 After getting out of the "South Exit," cross the street and walk for a few minutes, and you'll arrive at "Nakamura Tokichi Main Store." 🚆 🌸🍃The main store opens at 10:00 a.m., but we didn't get there until close to 11:00. First, we went to the store's self-service machine to get a number (just like in my country) and realized there were already many people waiting in line. 📢 🎢🌟 People waiting in line were sitting in the courtyard's long corridor. But it was too hot, so we decided to wander around the souvenir area first and take some photos at the entrance. 🌸🍃The staff were very friendly and even offered to take a group photo for us. 🌟 After waiting for about 40 minutes, my phone notified me that it was almost our turn, so we quickly went back to the courtyard. Sure enough, the next table was ours! 🎉 #Uji
