💗 First Meal in Tromsø: Surprisingly Delicious Nordic Cuisine
I’ve heard from many people that Nordic food is really hard to enjoy, and a lot of travelers end up cooking in their Airbnb. But I wanted to give it a try with an open mind, even though my expectations were quite low.💡 However, this restaurant completely exceeded my expectations❗️ 🫕 Fish Soup Fish soup is a major Norwegian specialty, so it’s a must-order! It’s not fishy at all—I found it very fresh. The soup is filled with seafood like salmon, cod, and sweet shrimp, which makes it very aromatic and rich. It comes with two slices of bread🍞, which you should definitely dip into the soup—it’s the right way to enjoy it. 🥩 Pork Ribs (p4) These ribs are similar to the ones you might find at Lidl. They have a sweet, spicy, and slightly salty flavor, and they come with fries🥔 and corn🌽, which are also quite good. 🐟 Cod (p3) I almost always order cod when I try foreign cuisine, and I’ve never been disappointed! The bacon on top is a bit salty, but the accompanying sauce is delicious. 🌮 Taco The taco is filled with fried shrimp and various vegetables, and you can taste a hint of mango, which helps cut through the richness. However, overall, it feels a bit dry. 🍔 Burger It’s a pretty standard burger, which is decent. 📍 Egon Storgata 50, 9008 Tromsø, Norway #Norway #NorwayTravel #LifeInNorway #NorwegianCuisine #NorwegianFoodReview #Tromso #TromsoTravel #TromsoFood #TromsoEgon #NordicCuisine
