First Taste at My Favorite Japanese-Italian Pasta Spot — Just Opened!
The two popular Torrance locations I mentioned before are finally open! Went grocery shopping over the weekend and couldn’t resist trying this beloved pasta place first. Heads up—it’s soft opening season! 🚧 There was only one server, so seating and service were on the slower side. But the flavors were totally on point—just as good as the Little Tokyo location, maybe even better! And maybe it's just me, but the portions felt bigger too. Here’s what we ordered: 🧀 Burrata – fresh and creamy 🦀 Creamy Crab Meat Gratin – rich and indulgent 🍝 Beef Ragu Sauce Spaghetti – my go-to for rich, savory sauce lovers 🥓 Carbonara – a kid-approved favorite, always creamy and packed with bacon 🍲 Dashi Pasta – light, subtly flavorful with a hint of radish broth—perfect if you don’t like heavy dishes The carbonara is a sure win for kids (or anyone who loves creamy pasta with bacon!). The dashi pasta offers a gentle, Japanese-inspired flavor—great when you want something less rich. And the beef ragu? A must-order for anyone who loves deep, hearty sauces. 📍 Pasta e Pasta 3629 Pacific Coast Hwy, Torrance, CA 90505 Even with the soft-opening pace, the food made it totally worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu! If you’re near Torrance and love Japanese-Italian fusion, give this spot a visit 🥢❤️ #LAEats #JapaneseItalian #PastaLover #TorranceEats #SoftOpening #FoodieReview #HiddenGemLA #KidFriendlyEats #CarboLoad #LAFoodGuide
