π First Visit, But Definitely Not the Last!
How have I been overlooking this place all along? When my conference hotel sold out in half an hour, I started searching within "Can my date walk here in 5-inch heels?" distance β and discovered The Ellis Hotel π¨π«, a popular spot during DragonCon. The building itself is historic and charming, but inside β it's all modern and polished β¨. My corner king room was super comfortable (and my picky back loved that bed ποΈβ€οΈ). The shower was a dream πΏ β featuring a real Kohler Deluge showerhead with endless hot water! Unlike some other hotels (cough Courtland Grand), the elevators and A/C worked perfectly all weekend βοΈβ . Housekeeping was on point π§Ό, and the front desk staff were amazing β especially Abien and Sebier π! All night, there was a "charge-to-your-room" snack and drink station.
