Sudbury Music Festival 🎵 North Light Festival Boreal 🎵🎸 Going to Sudbury's North Light Festival Boreal this time really gave me a totally different vibe compared to music festivals back home! If domestic music festivals feel more like a concentrated musical carnival, NLFB is more like a lively multicultural community party—no strong sense of distance, everyone gathers like neighbors, swaying to the music 🕺, occasionally clinking glasses with the unfamiliar smiling faces around 🍻, relaxed and at ease 😌. The artist in the second photo was incredibly energetic! He was so hyped on stage, jumping and singing nonstop, and when he saw me taking photos with my phone, he even came over, took my phone in his hand, and sang directly into the camera 🎤. That close-up interaction made my heart skip a beat—total fan girl moment! I still feel excited when I look back at the video 🥰. It was such a coincidence that I volunteered at the beer tent for two days 🍺. All the colleagues I worked with were locals, and everyone was friendly and fun—like a little team of music-loving friends! They not only patiently taught me lots of little tricks for serving customers, like the quick beer-opening gesture and how to remember different beer flavors (hello, citrusy ale vs. hoppy IPA! 🍻), but also secretly gave me some beer-opening tools as tips after work, saying "welcome to the beer lovers' club"—it was really heartwarming～ ❤️ Even though I was too tired to move after each day, collapsing onto the couch as soon as I got back, it felt like I could still hear the guitar riffs from the stage and the cheers of the crowd 🔊. This relaxed yet lively atmosphere is probably the most unique charm of NLFB! Had so much fun 🥳—already counting down to next year’s! P.S. The sunset over the festival grounds?
