Food Review|JJAN Korean Gastropub in Los Angeles 🍻✨
A cozy, dimly-lit spot in Ktown—JJAN has great vibes and is perfect for a date night! 🥂 Though it can get a bit noisy. We walked in around 6 PM on a weekday with no problem; weekends are busier—arrive by 7 PM and you might wait about 30 minutes. ⏳ 1️⃣ Cheese Bath Spicy Chicken 🧀🔥 So good! Eat it while it’s hot—the cheese pulls perfectly (it clumps up when cool). The chicken has a nice kick that balances well with the sweet cheese—not greasy at all! 2️⃣ Steamed Egg 🥚 Simple and mild—works well as a light starter. 3️⃣ Large Beef Intestine 🐄💥 Delicious! Deep-fried (feels sinful but worth it), juicy and bursting with flavor. Portion isn’t huge—comes with lots of veggies. 4️⃣ Spicy Pork Belly with Squid 🐖🦑 Just okay—didn’t stand out. The pork was tender and squid was chunky, but too many bean sprouts buried the meat. 🥬 5️⃣ Original Frozen Beer 🍺 Tastes like regular draft beer—not special. Better off mixing your own soju-beer! 🍶➕🍺 📍 Address: 3328 W 8th St, Los Angeles, CA 90005 What’s your go-to Korean pub dish?
