🍜 Frankfurt Food Guide | Chinese, Desserts & Bubble Tea Favorites

Spent four days eating through Frankfurt as a total foodie—here’s my roundup of the best spots I tried. Hope it helps! 😊 IIMORI Patisserie A Japanese-French patisserie and café with a wide range of delicate cakes. Highly recommend the matcha and strawberry shortcake 🍵🍓. Their drink menu is also extensive. The vintage, elegant interior is perfect for photos 📸. 💡 Tip: Secure a table before ordering—it gets crowded! Balance Deli A cozy spot combining a yoga studio, breakfast nook, and brunch café. Sunlight floods the space—so peaceful 🌞. Loved their smoothie bowls and overnight oats. Very Instagram-friendly! Kyubang Cafe A Korean dessert café known for their fluffy bingsu (shaved ice) and fruit waffles. Also try the red bean Boong-o-Ppang 🧇. The bingsu is perfect for sharing between two! Jianbing Plus A budget-friendly Chinese crepe and snack bar. Their jianbing (savory crepe) is delicious and comes cut in half—ideal for sharing. The Sichuan-style red oil wontons and pan-fried buns are must-tries 🥟. Skip the skewers (not flavorful, and a 10-skewer minimum). Deal alert: €10 jianbing set includes sweet millet porridge! Lingdian Chuanba (Midnight Skewers) A Chinese BBQ joint with great flavors and fair prices. Favorites: lamb skewers, grilled pork belly, rice cakes, leek, squid, garlic potato slices, and chicken wings 🌶️. Not too spicy by default—ask for more heat if needed. ℹ️ Payment: German debit card, cash, Alipay/WeChat. 📍 Note: Located near the main station—better to visit during the day. Xiaoyuanba Sichuan Restaurant The best Sichuan food in Frankfurt according to locals! As a Sichuan native, I approve ✅ Must-orders: steamed pork with rice flour, stir-fried green beans with preserved vegetables, and eggplant with long beans 🥢. The spicy chicken was almost too hot to handle! 📞 Always call ahead—they’re always fully booked. 💳 Payment: German debit card or cash only. Zhugekaoyu (Zhuge Grilled Fish) Mixed reviews online, but I found it pretty authentic! Tried the classic spicy grilled fish with side dishes and Liangfen (spicy chili mung bean jelly) 🌶️🐟. 💳 They accept credit cards! The Alley Bubble tea spot inside the subway station—highly recommend their drinks 🧋! #FoodDiary #FoodReview #FrankfurtEats #ChineseFoodFrankfurt #DessertLover #BubbleTeaTime #FoodieRecommendation #TravelEats #GermanFoodScene
