French cuisine in DC has won my heart with onion soup and confit duck

Updating our DC travel log again after a few days~ We’ve been discovering treasure troves of restaurants almost every day during our week in DC, and I’m so happy! Highlights: ❤️【Classic Dishes】The restaurant offers many classic French dishes, such as onion soup, snails, and confit duck. Judging by the staff backgrounds on their website, it seems quite authentic, haha. ❤️【Praise for the Food】Every dish we ordered was delicious, but I have two favorites⬇️ 🍝 Onion Soup: Personally, I’m not usually a fan of French onion soup 🧅 as I find the taste a bit odd. But theirs had no weird flavors and was quite good. 🍝 Confit Duck Leg: I highly recommend the confit duck leg! The duck skin was crispy and aromatic, and the meat was tender and easy to eat. The little pot also came with equally tender beans, various sausages, pork, and pork skin (which was super soft and delicious). Each bite was warm and comforting, though it was a bit much, and I was full by the end. ❤️【Ambiance】The overall environment and atmosphere of the restaurant are very comfortable and cozy. It’s not the fancy, high-end type, but I really like it. #BayAreaLife #BayAreaWeekend #WhereToGoOnTheWeekend #Washington #WashingtonFood #WashingtonFoodGuide #WashingtonCherryBlossoms #WashingtonDCFood #FrenchCuisine #FrenchFood #WashingtonRestaurantHopping
