A new Koyi Sushi just opened in Montclair! They’ve been around for years in OC and finally expanded to the East Side. I’d tried their OC location before—what stood out was their style: less rice, more fish—exactly the kind of AYCE I like. No worries about filling up on rice after just two pieces! 🍚🙅♂️ This new branch follows the same concept. We went with the $38 all-you-can-eat option. You can order unlimited sushi, hand rolls, appetizers, and specialty rolls—even bluefin tuna and giant scallops are included (up to 3 orders per person), which is a great deal! Small rice bases, thick cuts of fish… every bite feels satisfying! 🐟💥 The appetizer selection is generous too: calamari rings, fried cheese—all tasty 🧀🔥 We also got a seaweed salad to balance the meal—the portion was solid. Lots of creative rolls to try: the fried crawfish roll and grilled scallop roll were both delicious!
