🍧 From Bangkok to Boston|A Dessert Dupe Found at Last!
Ever since trying that famous toast dessert and shaved ice in Bangkok years ago, I’ve been dreaming about it ever since 🥹 After moving to the U.S., I kept searching online for something similar—and finally discovered this spot in Brookline. Their menu actually has those familiar flavors, so I immediately dragged my family over for a “pilgrimage.” 🧊 Shaved Ice comes in several flavors: Thai milk tea, mango, Oreo, strawberry 🍧 This time we ordered Oreo—my kid’s favorite. The portion is huge, definitely not for one person. Sharing among three of us was just right. The ice is finely shaved, fluffy, and melts on the tongue. 🍞 But the grilled toast is my true love 🤍 We got pandan custard and yam custard. The toast arrived smelling richly buttery—crisp outside, soft inside, exactly like what I remember from Bangkok. That first bite brings warm, sweet comfort straight to the heart. 🍨 We also tried Bi Co Moi, a more unique dessert: Chewy black sticky rice at the bottom, drizzled with slightly salty coconut cream, topped with vanilla ice cream, and finished with a sticky, sweet-savory sauce. A surprising but addictive combo! Honestly, this is the only dessert shop I’d go back to again and again. If you’re into Southeast Asian sweets, or just want a cozy dessert spot, I’m pretty sure you’ll fall in love with it too 💛 📍 Oasit’s Sweet, Brookline #SweetTreatHappiness #BostonFood #BostonEats
