Fuji Ramen and Sushi | A Cinematic Dining Experience in Calgary

Hi foodies~ Today I'm thrilled to share this absolutely Instagram-worthy and delicious Japanese restaurant called Fuji, located on Macleod Trail in south Calgary! The interior design is so authentically Japanese that you'll feel like you've stepped into a scene from a film—perfect for photos! What really won me over? Their menu comes with pictures for every dish! No more frantic Googling to see what each item looks like 😵‍💫. My friend and I wanted to order everything, but alas, there were only two of us. Still, every single dish we tried was a hit—we cleaned our plates (and nearly rolled out the door from being so stuffed lol). Here are my top recommendations: 🍽 Must-Try Dishes: Agedashi Tofu : Crispy on the outside, silky-soft inside—the thin, delicate fry gives way to melt-in-your-mouth tofu. Topped with bonito flakes and drizzled with savory sauce, it’s pure comfort in every bite. Crazy Cajun Shrimp : A MUST-ORDER! Sushi rice wrapped in a crispy shell, stuffed with shrimp, topped with crabmeat, and finished with mango for a sweet, tangy punch—texture and flavor heaven. Okonomiyaki : This cheesy, stretchy Osaka-style pancake stole my heart. Loaded with sauce and oozing with cheese (yes, it pulls!), I couldn’t stop myself from having "just one more bite" even when I was stuffed. 🌟 Service Shoutout: The staff here deserve all the praise—three super-friendly servers kept checking in, chatting with us about the food, and making sure we were enjoying every bite.
