Galveston Food Recommendations & Rail Trolley Fun! ππ
The weather was perfect this week, so we took the kids to Galveston β and surprisingly, the water was actually pretty blue! ππ΄ I highly recommend Katie's Seafood House π, located right by the harbor where you can watch the fishing boats. Though sitting outside is nice, Iβd suggest dining indoors if you plan to stay awhile β it can get hot! π₯ The food was delicious! We ordered: A whole fried fish π β huge portion and very crispy! Steamed snapper (my favorite! π₯’), which was tender and not too bony. Snapper wings β absolutely! So flavorful and fried perfectly π A big bowl of seafood chowder π₯£ β rich and comforting A fried fish and shrimp combo platter π€ β generous serving and great for sharing The portions here are big and satisfying β definitely worth the visit! After eating, we explored the town and hopped on the Historic Rail Trolley β a fun, retro-style ride that the kids loved! ππ¨ Perfect day trip for families β good food, cute town vibes, and plenty to see and do! #HoustonDayTrip #WeekendWithKids #ThingsToDoInHouston #GalvestonEats #FamilyFun #TexasCoast
