Galveston Food Recommendations & Rail Trolley Fun! 🚃🌊

The weather was perfect this week, so we took the kids to Galveston — and surprisingly, the water was actually pretty blue! 😍🌴 I highly recommend Katie's Seafood House 🐟, located right by the harbor where you can watch the fishing boats. Though sitting outside is nice, I’d suggest dining indoors if you plan to stay awhile — it can get hot! 🔥 The food was delicious! We ordered: A whole fried fish 🐠 — huge portion and very crispy! Steamed snapper (my favorite! 🥢), which was tender and not too bony. Snapper wings — absolutely! So flavorful and fried perfectly 👌 A big bowl of seafood chowder 🥣 — rich and comforting A fried fish and shrimp combo platter 🍤 — generous serving and great for sharing The portions here are big and satisfying — definitely worth the visit!
