Perfect for a long weekend! This road trip from Dallas combines city vibes, coastal relaxation, and delicious food. Hereβs our itinerary β feel free to steal it! π Day 1 π³ Brunch at Snooze, an A.M. Eatery: Eggs Benedict were tasty but the crab filling was a bit salty π¦π§ Pancakes were fluffy and not too sweet β finished them all! π₯π Coffee was on point too! β π¨ Museum of Fine Arts, Houston: Highly recommended! πΌοΈ Saw works by Monet, Picasso, and a special Matisse exhibition π Loved the modern art section β spent half a day here! πΆοΈ Dinner at Taste of Hunan (Chinatown): Authentic Hunanese food β every dish was amazing! π₯ Even better than Hunan Bistro (according to locals)! Only available in Houston β no branches elsewhere! π Evening: Tried to visit Rice University Park but couldnβt find parking ππ¨ Explored Rice University campus instead β beautiful architecture! ποΈ Day 2 π₯ Breakfast at Liu Ji Food Truck: Chinese crepe (jianbing) was surprisingly authentic! π― Tofu pudding was decent though not traditional π Optional: NASA Space Center (we skipped due to time) ποΈ Drove to Galveston: Visited Moody Gardens π΄π : Three pyramids: Rainforest, Aquarium, Water Park Loved the Rainforest Pyramid β felt like walking through the Amazon! π¦₯π’ Great for families! π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ π½οΈ Dinner at Cajun Greek: Katieβs Seafood was too crowded β but this was a happy accident! π¦ͺ Oysters were fresh and delicious! π Evening walk along Galveston Beach: Water isnβt the clearest, but the sunset + seagulls were pretty! ποΈπ Day 3 β Galveston Naval Museum: Perfect for military enthusiasts! π’ Explored a retired submarine and warship β could go inside! π² Lunch back in Houston Chinatown: Hot pot at Xiao Long Kan π₯π₯’ Boba at Feng Cha β tasted just like Heytea/Nayuki! π§π #HoustonTravel #GalvestonGetaway #TexasRoadTrip #FoodieAdventure #MuseumHopping #FamilyTravel
