Gas Works Park, Seattle’s Refinery Transformed into Elegance

📷 Once a refinery, now a picturesque park by the shores of Lake Union, offering panoramic views of the Seattle skyline and the Space Needle. You can also enjoy a breathtaking sunset from the small hillside next to the park. 📷 I set off from Vancouver to Seattle a couple of weeks ago to help a friend take cherry blossom photos at the University of Washington. To avoid the endless traffic jam on I-5, I decided to limit my exploration to places within a 10-minute drive from the university. 📷 I discovered a place called Gas Works Park on Google Maps and decided to check it out. The photo ops turned out to be quite impressive… 📷 Although I come to Seattle at least five times a year, I’m not sure if this park is a hidden gem of Seattle or if it’s already well-known.
