Gaylord National Resort – Washington DC Capital Getaway 🏨🇺🇸

🏠 Location: 201 Water Front St, National Harbor, MD 20745 🏠 Brand: Part of the Marriott portfolio 🏠 Access: About a 20-minute drive from downtown Washington DC 🏠 Airport: Closest is Ronald Reagan National Airport (20 min drive)—a major domestic airport. Dulles International and Baltimore airports are farther and less convenient. 🏠 Transport: Recommend driving or rideshare—area feels a bit isolated. Sidewalks exist if you’re feeling adventurous! 🚶♂️ 🏠 Views: The scenery outside the hotel is stunning—serene and magnificent! Perfect for a stroll. Even spotted an Asian couple taking wedding photos there! 💑📸 🏠 Hotel Vibe: Beautiful, spacious, and bright with plenty of dining options—including a small market for fruits, salads, drinks, breakfast items, and daily essentials. Front desk service was friendly. 🛒☀️ 🏠 Room: Sharp contrast to the lobby—rooms felt dark with wall-to-wall carpeting that looked unclean. Furniture and bathroom felt dated. Found small blood stains on bedding—made my legs itch and worried about bugs. Not recommended—poor value. 🚫🛏️ 🏠 Price: Around $300 per night for a standard room. Have you stayed at Gaylord National Resort? What was your experience—love the views or disappointed with the rooms?
