Georgetown Japanese Cuisine | KYOJIN Sushi🍣🍸🏮
🌟A bit hard to find, tucked away in an alley, roughly next to skims. 🌟It’s arguably one of the top Japanese restaurants in Washington, possibly because there aren’t many good ones in DC, and there are even fewer in Georgetown. I usually eat here every time I come to this area. 🌟This place is much better than most American-style Japanese restaurants and those that are overhyped. The dishes are indeed small and exquisite, though. If you don’t order a main course, two people might not feel full. 🌟The Live scallop is fantastic as a signature dish, and the uni is particularly good, very fresh and sweet. I recommend all uni-related dishes, and the scallops are also great. 🌟The uni in the Lemon shooter is also sweet, but the portion is tiny. The dish is flavored with a sour and spicy note, which is quite like Latin American cuisine.Personally, I’m not a big fan. 🌟The winner is also their signature dish, but today we only had their seafood and didn’t try the wagyu, which looks pretty good. 🌟For cocktails, I recommend Respect Your Elderflowers, a sweet and sour lychee flavor, with vodka as the base. It’s pretty strong, but you can’t taste the harshness of the alcohol. #dc #DMVFoodie #dmvfoodadventures #japanesecuisine #GeorgetownUniversity #Georgetown #dmv
