Glenelg Beach, Adelaide 🌆

Adelaide is a slow-paced city—carefully planned before it was built. Its coastline faces west, making it a perfect spot for sunset views 🌅. Walking on the jetty, the gentle winter breeze mixed with the glow of the setting sun feels soft and warm on the skin. Though the Ferris wheel isn’t running in winter 🎡, the golden glow of the buildings under the sunset is absolutely stunning ✨. I set up my camera to capture the view, and ran into a group of students on the pier who wanted a photo—they were all smiles 😁. 🦪 Before leaving, take a stroll north along the shore and try the Oyster Bar. They serve 9 types of oysters (5 chilled, 4 grilled). I ordered a dozen Mixed, which lets you pick 3–4 flavours—like THAI, POMEGRANATE, CHILLI & CHEESE, and DARLEYFELLA. The grilled oysters were a surprise highlight—crispy, cheesy, and full of freshness.
