I recently visited Glenelg Beach in Adelaide, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience. The beach is situated in a prime location, just a short tram ride from the city center. It's a perfect spot to spend a day relaxing, swimming, sunbathing, or just taking in the beautiful views. The beach is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of amenities available such as toilets, showers, and changing rooms. The lifeguards were friendly and the beach is patrolled by them which makes the beach more safe. The beach is also wide and long which means there is plenty of space for everyone. The Jetty Road is another great spot in Glenelg, it's a lively street with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes. We decided to grab a bite at one of the cafes, and the food was delicious. The street is also lined with colorful beach huts which make for great photo opportunities. One of the highlights of Glenelg beach is the Glenelg Pier, which is a great spot for fishing and watching the sunset. The pier is also home to a few restaurants and cafes, and it's a perfect spot to relax and take in the views. Overall, we had an amazing day at Glenelg Beach. The beach is beautiful, the facilities are great, and the surrounding area has plenty to offer. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great day out. It's a great spot for family and friends to enjoy a day at the beach together.

Glenelg Beach is basically my happy place! 🌞 The sandy shores, the chill vibes – it's a 5-star escape right in Adelaide's backyard. I love how there's room for everyone to spread out, whether you're into building sandcastles, catching waves, or just catching some rays. And can we talk about those sunset views? Unreal! 🌅 Jetty Road is like the cool neighbor of the beach. Shops, cafes – it's the perfect spot to grab a snack or a cute souvenir after you've had your fill of sun and sea. Bonus points for how clean and well-kept everything is. No beach day drama here! Glenelg Beach is my go-to when I need a quick break from reality. If you're in Adelaide and haven't soaked up the Glenelg goodness, you're seriously missing out. It's the kind of place that turns a regular day into a mini-vacay. 🏝️

It certainly lives up to the reputation it has, Glenelg, you are pretty dam good. Love all of the recent reno’s and upgrades (last 5-7 years). Getting fish and chips along the beach is a family tradition, and this time it was great to have a location that could entertain young kids, have a space that we could try out our new Stand Up Paddle-board, play a game of cricket, throw a frisbee, and go for a fish. We certainly felt safe with the abundance of surf life guards around the place, the lookout tower been stationed, and the presence of lifeguards on the beach. Thank you Glenelg, I’m sure you have been the backdrop for many other family occasions!

The most attractive of the seaside suburbs in Adelaide. There are streets lined with pines giving it a cool feel during the summer. The beach is one of the best in Adelaide, wide expanses of white sands and blue sea. The nightlife is great down at Glenelg with plenty of places to eat and drink so you are guaranteed of a good night out. Add to that the biggest and best public new years party and those that are out for a good time will be in their element. If you want to get into the city the tram will have you there in 25 minutes and the drive is an easy one.
