Greenville, SC | It’s Spring! Checking Out Cleveland Park
March is here—one day it’s chilly, the next it warms up again! Perfect weather to step out and wander 😝 🚶 My Walking Route Today I went from the Zoo → Cleveland Park to the Swamp Rabbit Trail near Reedy Falls in downtown. For the return trip, I took the roads: Main Street → McBee Ave → Washington St back to the Zoo. That final downhill stretch made my toes ache a little—oops! 😅The one-way distance is 1.2 miles. We took our time, so it took over 30 minutes. 🐾 Highlights of the Area Cleveland Park: The kids’ playground has tons of fun equipment—great for families! Greenville Zoo: Also perfect for parent-child outings. They offer single-visit tickets and annual passes. It looks small from the outside, so I skipped going in this time. Swamp Rabbit Trail: So many people, dogs 🐶, and bikes here! I originally planned to cycle, but worried the ground was still wet from yesterday’s rain… turns out it was totally dry! 😁 There are plenty of benches along the way—sit and rest whenever you’re tired. Compared to Atlanta’s BeltLine or Charlotte’s Light Rail Trail, Greenville’s Swamp Rabbit Trail focuses more on natural ecology with very little commercial vibe. It’s ideal if you’re out for exercise or a casual workout 💪 Now I’m already wondering—which park should I visit next? #SouthCarolina #GreenvilleSC #Trail #Outdoors #GreenvilleSouthCarolina
