Greenville, SC | Must-Try Lobster Roll in the "Green Town" 🩞

Greenville, South Carolina, is said to be one of the most livable cities in the US—and this trip, I stayed right near Main Street. Let me tell you: Greenville is hands down the best city for a leisurely City Walk! đŸš¶ 1. The Jones Oyster Co. – Local Favorite Spot This popular small restaurant/bar is famous for its oysters and lobster rolls. When I arrived, there was a long line outside—but since I was dining alone, I snagged a last-minute spot at the bar. Total win! 😆 I ordered the Connecticut Lobster Roll with fries and coleslaw—and it was absolutely amazing. The bread was crispy on the outside, infused with buttery aroma, and inside? It was stuffed with huge chunks of lobster meat (no tiny scraps here!)—tender, bouncy, and so flavorful. The fries were my favorite kind: crispy all the way through, and the coleslaw was the perfect tangy complement to cut through the richness. I also tried two types of oysters—they’re fresh daily, so the varieties change, so be sure to ask the staff for recommendations! The oysters came with three dipping sauces: two had mustard, and one was tangy (I even used that one for my fries—it worked surprisingly well!). Btw, the complimentary appetizer (hummus with snacks) was delicious too—the hummus had such a great flavor! 📍 Address: 22 E Court St, Greenville, SC 29601 After Eating: Wander & Explore Main Street Once you’re full, walk along Main Street toward Reedy River Falls—there are tons of cute shops to browse along the way: 2. River Street Sweets: This shop sells all kinds of chocolates, candies, pastries, and ice cream. Their most famous item is pralines (caramel cookies with nuts)—they’re fragrant, but very sweet. Worth a quick stop if you’re passing by! 🍬 3. Coffee & Art Shop: There’s a cozy spot on Main Street that sells coffee plus paintings and artworks—it’s super unique! Their coffee has great reviews online, so grab a cup if you need a pick-me-up. ☕ 📍 River Street Sweets Address: 14 S Main St, Greenville, SC 29601 4. Iconic Reedy River Falls The falls are in a small park—and the scenery is absolutely lovely. The whole vibe is relaxed and chill: everyone takes their time walking, and the atmosphere just feels so calming. The waterfall itself is small (you can walk around it in less than 10 minutes), but it’s totally worth a visit for the peaceful energy! 🌊 📍 Address: 37 Furman College Way, Greenville, SC 29601 #WanderlustVibes #WeekendWander #FoodieAdventures #TheJoyOfWandering #WaterfallInMyGallery #GlobalFoodSquad #LifeInNorthAmerica #SouthCarolina #GreenvilleSC #GreenvilleAdventures
