🦪 Greenville | No Wonder It’s Rated 5.0 on Yelp – Oyster Heaven!

Finally made it to Jones Oyster Co., a spot I’ve been craving forever near my boyfriend’s workplace 🏢💨. We got there just after 5 PM—right after he finished work—and the place was already packed! Luckily, we grabbed the last two window seats. Otherwise, it would’ve been a wait outside 🍀. This unassuming little restaurant is a hidden gem 🐚—super fresh seafood and incredible flavor. Highly recommend! Their specialty is seafood: oysters, fish, shrimp, crab, lobster—you name it. We missed Happy Hour (which runs Tue–Fri, 2–4 PM 🕑, with oysters at just $1.50 each), so we had to order at regular price. We got a dozen Chef’s Choice oysters and half a dozen NOLA grilled oysters. ▫️ Chef’s Choice Oysters – $34/dozen 🌟🌟🌟🌟💫 A mix based on daily availability. Each oyster was plump, sweet, and super fresh—no fishy smell! The server recommended we start with the sweetest ones. All were from VA but had distinct flavors. So satisfying for Greenville! ▫️ NOLA Grilled Oysters – $18/half dozen 🌟🌟🌟🌟 I usually prefer raw oysters, but these were worth trying! Topped with garlic butter and served with bread—so fragrant and juicy, perfectly grilled 🧄🔥. ▫️ Fish Dip Sample (complimentary) 🌟🌟🌟🌟 A signature appetizer they brought us after we sat down. The peppers and onions made it! A bit salty, but my boyfriend loved it so much he almost ordered a full portion. 🍚 Mains ▫️ Crab Fried Rice – $22 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Even someone like me who doesn’t usually love fried rice couldn’t stop eating this! Loaded with real crab meat and kicked up with diced peppers—absolutely stunning. A must-order every time we come back. ▫️ Connecticut Lobster Roll – $28 🌟🌟🌟🌟💫 They offer two styles: Maine (cold with mayo) and Connecticut (warm with butter). We went with Connecticut—rich, buttery, and full of lobster flavor. Really good, though not as mind-blowing as the crab fried rice. 📌 Jones Oyster Co. Walk-ins only – no reservations. Expect ~30 min wait during peak dining hours. 💰 Average per person: $60+ Definitely a repeat-worthy spot! If you’re in Greenville and love seafood, don’t miss this one 🦞🍽️. #GreenvilleSC #JonesOysterCo #SeafoodLover #OysterTime #FoodReview #BestInGreenville #FoodieAdventure
