GT Campus Eats | Affordable & Quick “Cafeteria-Style” Chinese Food 🥡

It’s been a while since I tried a new spot — this time, a friend and I visited a restaurant near the GT campus. The no-frills, “cafeteria-style” setup means quick ordering and even quicker service. Perfect for Scheller College students — just cross the street after class! I always assumed it was Americanized Chinese… but finally gave it a try. The menu offers way more than expected: beef noodle soup, hibachi rice, poke bowls, dumplings, and baozi. What we tried: 🍝 Spicy Beef Noodles ($15) – A heartier version of braised beef noodles. Add the fried egg — the runny yolk mixed into the broth is heavenly! Tender beef and radish pieces made this the star of the meal. 🍜 Clear Broth Beef Noodles ($14) – Lighter, cleaner broth with sliced beef. Great if you prefer something less heavy. 🍖 Hibachi Beef Fried Rice ($14) – Upgrade to hibachi-style beef for +$1.50. Huge portion with stir-fried veggies. 🐟 Eel Poke Bowl ($16) – Unagi over sushi rice with savory-sweet eel sauce — satisfying and flavorful. 🍣 Spicy Salmon Poke Bowl ($14) – Fresh salmon cubes with spicy mayo and yum yum sauce. Recommend light sauce to let the fish shine! Overall: big portions, convenient location, and wallet-friendly. Stick to the more Chinese-leaning dishes if you’re craving authentic flavors! 📍 Asian Fusion 75 5th St NW #170, Atlanta, GA 30308 (East Campus, near Tech Square) 💰 Price: $8–$15 per person #GTEats #CampusFood #ChineseFood #AffordableEats #GTech #AtlantaFood #StudentLife #QuickBites #PokeBowls #NoodleLovers
