Last weekend, I went to the Costco in Rowland Heights and discovered a Haidilao Hot Pot just under 500 meters away — with a limited-time AYCE offer! I rushed over to try it, and here’s my full recap for you, girls! 💁‍♀️ 🍳 Dining Tips You Need to Know: 1️⃣ AYCE is available daily before 5 PM (arrive by 5 PM to qualify). There are three tiers, each with a 90-minute limit. You order via tablet — super convenient! Check Image 18 for the menu and pricing (soup base included, but dipping sauce is $3.99 extra). 🎉 Lucky us — the staff said starting Nov. 24, only Tier A ($32.99/person) will be available. Tiers B & C are paused. But trust me — Tier A is MORE than enough! 2️⃣ Soup Base – Each person picks one. I went with Classic Spicy + Tomato (one spicy, one mild). The other two are plain water bases — perfect for DIY! I recreated Japanese Sukiyaki and Tom Yum broths using a Xiaohongshu recipe — turned out great! 🍜 Check Image 5 for the DIY mix — save it! 3️⃣ Opens at 11 AM. On weekends, come before 2 PM or after 4 PM — it gets packed around 3 PM! 4️⃣ The vibe is clean, spacious, and cozy — just like Haidilao in China! Booths are soft and semi-private, great for group hangs. 🚫 Avoid seats near the kitchen exit — it gets busy. 5️⃣ Order meat-heavy in Round 1 🥩 — shrimp and mussels are great too (and super photogenic 📸). Leave some space before Round 2 — they serve slower to avoid waste. Let’s be mindful — even though it’s AYCE, no wasting food! 🙅‍♀️ 6️⃣ Robots deliver extra orders — introvert-friendly! 🤖💖 7️⃣ Late-night discount: 31% off after 9 PM daily 🥳 Great for night owls with cars! 8️⃣ Birthdays at Haidilao are still a whole vibe 🎂 Even overseas, they play the music, give gifts, and bring out mini cakes.
