Hawaii ⛰️ Finally, it’s my turn to hike in a fairy-tale world!!

Back in Oahu, Hawaii for a second time 🍍 And I’ve finally checked off the highly recommended magical trail! The view from the summit is just breathtaking 😭😭 You can overlook the scenery of Oahu, the mountain ridges, and the blue sea! A must-hike trail once in a lifetime 💞💞 This trail is located on the southeast corner of Oahu, about a 20-minute drive from Waikiki. It’s truly one of the most distinctive hiking trails on the island. The path is actually an abandoned railway track that goes straight from the foot of the mountain to the summit without any turns or platforms to rest. The trail consists of 1048 steps with an elevation gain of about 300 meters. Starting from the parking lot, my watch showed I hiked 2.3 miles and it took about 2 hours in total. It’s a bit tiring and leg-consuming, but it’s definitely doable for the average person, so don’t worry! Believe me, the view from the top is really worth it 😎😎 💡 Tips ◽️ There’s no shade along the entire trail, so make sure to apply sunscreen and consider wearing a hat 🧢 ◽️ Since you’ll be climbing stairs the whole time, it’s physically demanding, so make sure to bring enough water to prevent heatstroke 🫠 ◽️ The only restroom is at the parking lot, so it’s advisable to go before you start hiking 🤫 ◽️ There’s a short section where the stairs are open below, but there’s a path designed to go around it, so those afraid of heights can take the detour. Be careful not to miss a step if you’re taking the stairs, as the gaps between each step are quite large. This trail is so beautiful and unique.
