During our unexpected 72-hour stay in San Juan, we wandered into this place and enjoyed a truly wonderful dinner. 🫑The owner was busy at the grill himself, and the enticing aroma of his secret sauce filled the entire street. 🥣Following our server’s recommendation, we ordered the Cuban-style platter—the black beans and rice were simmered to perfection, the fried plantains were coated in a crispy caramelized shell, and the slow-cooked oxtail fell off the bone at the touch of a fork. 🧀A special mention goes to the fruit salad, with strawberries and blueberries mixed with fresh greens, offering a refreshing balance to the meal.
