Here’s How to Eat & Play in Tampa! 🌴🍽️

🌊 Must-Visit Spots: 1️⃣ Honeymoon Island 🏝️ A small offshore island ($8/car entry). Osprey Trail is scenic, but no freshwater showers—bring your own! We had bad weather (wind + rain ☔), but it’s usually peaceful & uncrowded. Shells were sparse (maybe we went too late?). Planned to take a ferry to Caladesi Island but couldn’t. ⭐ Rating: 3/5 – Quiet but lacking amenities. 2️⃣ Weeki Wachee Springs State Park (Little Jiuzhaigou! 🚣‍♂️💙) Closer to Tampa than Silver Springs (1hr from airport). Kayak rentals: $35 (single) / $50+ (double) – book in advance! No manatees when we went, but saw flying fish & stunning blue waters! 3-mile float (downstream but still requires paddling). ⭐ Rating: 4/5 – Would be 5/5 with manatees! 3️⃣ Clearwater Beach 🏖️ Most popular beach (soft sand, lots of shells). Nearby shops & restaurants make it convenient. ⭐ Rating: 4/5 – Great for a stroll if not too crowded. 4️⃣ Sand Key Beach 🐚✨ Just across the bridge from Clearwater, but WAY fewer people! More shells (we found live conchs & horseshoe crab shells!). ⭐ Rating: 5/5 – The better, quieter alternative to Clearwater! 🍤 Foodie Rankings: 1️⃣ Crabbys Dockside 🦞 Must-order: Coconut Lobster Bites (with pineapple dipping sauce—AMAZING!). Price: ~$40-50 per person. 2️⃣ Mr & Mrs Crab 🦀 Seafood boil (pick your combo—we got the Big Eats Combo + lobster cakes). Fresh seafood but a bit salty—lobster cakes were 🔥! 3️⃣ Waffle House 🧇 Classic 24/7 diner—watching them cook in front of you is fun! Big portions (1,000+ calories per meal 😅), but not overly greasy/sweet. Price: $10-20 for a filling breakfast. 4️⃣ Aji Limon (Peruvian Cuisine) 🥘 Seafood paella was the star—everything else was solid too! Popular—come early or expect a wait. Price: ~$40 per person. #TampaTravel #SpringBreak #FloridaGetaway #BeachVibes #FoodieAdventures
