🌟 Hi Chattanooga!
Today I left Nashville and spent the whole day exploring Chattanooga. To be honest, the town itself doesn’t have much to offer—it’s mainly known for its strategic importance during the American Civil War. The central train station, Chattanooga Choo Choo Historic District, was a bit disappointing 🫤. It’s just an old station hall with one or two trains, now converted into a roller rink and restaurants. Not worth a special trip. In the afternoon, I headed to the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum 🚂. Lots of abandoned vintage trains on display! If you buy a ticket, you can ride an old steam train—the cabin feels just like a classic green train (which might be a novelty for Americans 😄). At the transfer point, the staff demonstrate how to turn the locomotive around using a rotating platform. If you’ve played Resident Evil 2, you know exactly what I’m talking about! 🎮 Fun fact: early trains used HUMAN strength to rotate those platforms…how terrifyingly inefficient! 😅 At dusk, I visited Rock City for sunset 🌄. The area is full of caves and cliffs! Rock City lights up with colorful LEDs at night, making the trails feel magical ✨. I explored once before sunset and again after dark—it was amazing! I even enjoyed a coffee on the cliff edge while watching the sun go down. Nearby, Ruby Falls is also worth visiting (though it closes much earlier than Rock City). #TravelDiary 📔#Wanderlust 🌍#Chattanooga 🏞️#TrainMuseum 🚆#RockCity 🌄#SunsetVibes ☕️#HiddenGems 💎
