Hida Folk Village is NOT a Substitute for Shirakawa-go!!! 🌟🌸

Since I only stayed in Takayama for two days, I planned a trip to Hirayu and Shin-Hotaka on the second day, so I didn't choose to go to Shirakawa-go. 🌿 Instead, I took a bus to Hida Folk Village, which is just a 10-minute ride from JR Takayama, to experience the charm of the Gassho-style houses. 🌺 🍃🌺Little did I know!!! 🌟 Takayama has been hit by heavy snow these past few days, and Hida Folk Village was so beautiful it made my eyes pop! 🌸 The moment I entered the village, I was bursting with all kinds of words that would get bleeped out. Seriously, you have to see it to believe it! 🌟 Shirakawa-go has also been experiencing heavy snow these days, 🌊🎢but the visibility is quite low up in the mountains of Takayama. 🌨️ #Japan #HidaFolkVillage #Takayama #HirayuAndShinHotaka 🌿🌟
