Hidden Gem Japanese AYCE in East LA — Unbeatable Value! 🍣✨

Recently, after an escape room in Pomona, my friends and I wanted sushi AYCE nearby — and we discovered this amazing spot in Montclair! Super convenient parking, plus plenty of shopping nearby. Perfect for when you don’t want to drive far but still crave great Japanese food! As soon as you walk in, there’s a photo booth, claw machines, and an Instagram-worthy wall — great for killing time while waiting. Inside, the decor is thoughtful and charming, with cherry blossom themes and even a huge cherry blossom tree in the center! 🌸 We went for lunch, and the variety was seriously impressive. Being professional eaters, we ordered almost one of everything from the menu. Our first round came out super fast — within 15–20 minutes, all dishes arrived! 🐟 Highlights: Salmon, tuna, eel, and live shrimp were incredibly fresh. The live shrimp was a unanimous favorite — sweet, tender, and not fishy at all. Rolls we loved: both the grilled and fried crawfish rolls. They’re built on a California roll base, topped with grilled or fried crawfish and teriyaki sauce — every bite was packed with flavor! 🔥 Besides sushi, they also have hot dishes, appetizers, ramen, salads, takoyaki, miso soup… and even desserts — so much variety, you won’t get bored!
