That’s why today I’m recommending Diaspora—a cozy, affordable Korean spot right on High Street, super close to campus! 🏫📍 📍 Address: 2118 N High St. Must-Try Dishes: Soon Tofu Soup 🥣 : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My go-to order every time! You can choose beef, pork, or seafood. As a longtime Korean food fan, I can confirm this soup is perfectly spicy and flavorful—the tofu melts in your mouth, and the broth is rich and savory. Great for those who enjoy bold flavors! 🌶️🔥 Garlic Chicken Wings 🍗 : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another absolute favorite! These garlicky fried wings arrive with an irresistible aroma. Crispy on the outside, juicy and well-seasoned inside—though occasionally, the seasoning can vary depending on the chef’s mood that day. 😅 Bibimbap 🍚 : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A signature dish here! The stone pot version (make sure to order Dolsot) comes in a generous portion. Classic flavors, and you can adjust the sauce to your taste—a reliable and satisfying choice! Kimchi Dolsot 🍲 : ⭐️⭐️ A bit underwhelming as a bibimbap. The kimchi tasted old, and the chicken was dry and bland. Not my top pick. Daeji Bulgogi 🐖 : ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stir-fried pork on a sizzling plate—flavorful at first but gets a bit greasy after a few bites. Jajang-myeon 🍜 : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Their famous black bean noodles! Thick, savory sauce with chewy noodles, perfectly balanced with a side of kimchi. I once ordered it without onions—still tasty, though slightly less flavorful. Onion-haters can still enjoy it since the onion taste is very mild! 😌 ❌ BIG NO—Sushi Roll ❌ Tried the eel and tamago sushi—total letdown! 🍣 Eel Roll: Overwhelmed by salty sauce, couldn’t taste the eel.
